GIRLS CRICKET

HKHDCA is committed to developing girls’ interest, skills and love of cricket from the earliest age through to club competition and representative level.

At HKHDCA there is no such thing as a girl's sport or boy's sport - there is opportunity for all. Cricket Australia, Cricket NSW and local associations are focusing on encouraging girls to join in the fun of cricket.

DEVELOPING SKILLS AND COMPETITIVE PLAYERS

7-10 years Girls Only Master Blaster.

Primary aged girls can try the game with our Master Blasters program. A weekly 90-minute game session run over 8 weeks.  We run Girls Only Centres at Berry Park, Turramurra, and Thornleigh (TBC).  All equipment is supplied, and parents join in the fun by umpiring, wrangling players and scoring.

Stage 1, U11, U13 & U15 Competition

Equipment: A club kit is provided for each team. Players are welcome to bring their own bat, etc, but do not have to.  Shirts are purchased through your club.  Please do bring your white trousers, and your protector (we have some of these in the kits, but it’s an item better not shared!). Also, a water bottle and sunscreen, please.
